Competition Rules:
Participants less than 13 years will be asked to answer a quiz (short answers and multiple choice answers), however, they are welcome to participate in writing an essay instead. Participants of 13 years and up will be asked to write an essay on the topic.
Format
§ All submissions are to be done individually, group work is not permitted.
§ Participants are required to write their essays in the designated competition room.
§ Notes are not allowed.
§ The minimum length of the essay should be 300 words.
§ Essays can be written in English or Punjabi (Gurmukhi).
§ Participants will have no more than one hour to take the quiz, two hours for the essay.

- Pertinence of information
- Accuracy
- Amount of research (variety of information)
- Interest & understanding
